Our Mission

At Bridge to Independence, we acknowledge the prevalent commodification of disabilities in Western societies, where access to healthcare remains inaccessible and participation in community programs often incurs significant costs. In response, Bridge to Independence was established with a commitment to revolutionize this paradigm. We are dedicated to providing a wide range of services either free of charge or at substantially reduced rates, ensuring accessibility for individuals from all backgrounds to receive the highest quality care and support.

Our initiative represents a pioneering effort to catalyze a transformative shift within our local communities by exemplifying true service to those with disabilities. Notably, our executive staff members serve voluntarily, directing all proceeds and donations towards benefiting individuals with disabilities—an aspect that distinguishes us from many other non-profit organizations. This embodies the essence of inclusion, fostering an environment where everyone is empowered to thrive.

*We are a proud 501c3 nonprofit and our tax ID number is 93-2666352

Together, we can bridge the gap and create a more equitable society where individuals with disabilities can thrive and live their lives to the fullest.
